The Buying Process

THE BUYING PROCESS

Young's Cedar Log Homes wants to make the purchasing process as hassle-free and transparent as possible.

STEP 1:

DISCOVERY

This gives us a chance to get to know you and your family. We will discuss your goals and overall vision for the log home and begin the process of bringing your dream log home to life. We will discuss the things that are most important to you so that we can prioritize the scope and develop the package price. Our expert designers will begin to get a sense of your style and how you live.

STEP 2:

PLANNING

Once the scope and overall design concept is established and both parties have agreed to move forward, Young's asks for a 20% deposit on the total package price for formal work to begin. All of the discovery work now transitions to formal planning, creation of technical drawings, and photorealistic renderings, if needed, to bring the project to life. Your satisfaction is paramount and it is important to get all of the details correct during this phase to ensure we deliver the log home you have imagined.

STEP 3:

FABRICATION

The plans have been drawn and now our expert fabricators get work, milling the Northern White Cedar to the package specifications. At this point, Young's asks for an additional 50% of the total package price (70% total). The other build materials are meticulously inventoried and gathered to complete the order.

STEP 4:

DELIVERY &

ON-GOING SUPPORT

The materials are loaded onto a truck and carefully delivered to your jobsite. A detailed and comprehensive project manual is delivered to your builder and work can begin! The final 30% of the project balance is due upon delivery. Young's Cedar Log Homes is dedicated to your complete satisfaction with the log home package you have purchased. We provide ongoing support with your builder, making sure that they have everything they need to complete the build.
